In this episode, we welcome actor, improviser and writer Shannon O'Neill to the show. Shannon has been a part of the Legendary Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in NYC for more than 20 years. You have seen her on High Maintenance, The Other Two and Broad City amongst other projects. She has been an instructor for Newtown Arts Company's Master Class Monday. We chat with Shannon about her experiences teaching improv and she even walks host Emily Advani through an improv exercise on air.

We hear from Lexi about her exciting career which got its start on stage right here at Newtown Arts Company, and about a first-of-its-kind series, Master Class Monday, she is bringing to life at the Newtown Theatre.

Newtown Arts Company is dedicated to supporting the theatre arts in the heart of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. This mission is accomplished through the production of family-friendly live theatre, the granting of scholarships and the development of theatre arts education for area residents. Newtown Arts Company is committed to entertaining and moving audiences, as well as to offering an inclusive and inspiring creative experience to volunteers, both on stage and behind the scenes.
Founded in 1983, Newtown Arts Company currently presents six shows a year. The regular season includes an array of dramas, comedies and musicals from the classic to the contemporary. Since 2006 performances have been staged at the historic Newtown Theatre, the nation’s oldest movie house built in 1831. This beautiful classic theatrical venue enhances the audience experience.
